Warehouse worker

Topring is currently looking for a Warehouse Worker. He will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Task

Permanent, full time

Day Work Shift

39.5 hours per week

Granby

Specific Responsibilities

Gathering, packing, and shipping orders

  • Gather finished goods according to purchase orders
  • Meticulously verifying orders’ content, packing parcels in a safe and secure manner, and clearly identifying each box
  • Record shipments on transportation terminals, and ship orders

Assembly, packaging and labeling

  • Bag, assemble and label items
  • Glue and cut cardboard-plastic packaged items using a machine
  • Hose and hose reel assembly
  • Assembly of parts for air networks

Other Responsibilities

  • Data input using a computer system
  • Keep the workplace clean and tidy
  • Apply internal processes and work methods at all time
  • Propose solutions regarding technical improvements
  • Be ready to help the team at other work stations when needed according to workload
  • Manipulate working and maintenance equipment with ease and safety
  • Manipulate goods using a forklift
  • Participate in the inventory adjustment

Studies and Experience

  • High School Diploma or other related experience in warehouses (1-2 years experience)
  • Valid forklift driver’s license (as an asset)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  • Comfortable with technology and computer systems
  • Is a team player who embraces the values of sharing, respect and communication
  • Is versatile, fast and works for a job well done
  • Demonstrates great judgment and initiative
  • Is able to work under pressure
  • Demonstrates dynamism and enthusiasm
